Walking Black Angus Bull

"Poodle cut" coat

"Semi rough cut" coat

"Full rough cut" coat

There are three versions of the Walking Black Angus Bull's coat. The earliest and most uncommon is the "Poodle Cut," with most of the body covered with a rough, curly coat and the back, barrel, and croup shaved smooth.  Also fairly uncommon is the "Semi rough coat,"  which has the smooth croup and back of the first but with the barrel left rough. The third and most common version is the "full rough coat" appearance. The mold was initially released with no Breyer mold marks, but later full rough cut models have the "U.S.A." mold stamp. The Walking Black Angus Bull was sculpted by E.M. Boehm and is Breyer mold #72.

A symbol means that I don't yet have a picture of that model. If you can help, please see the Help Wanted section. Clicking on any photo below will open a larger version of that picture.
