Justin Morgan

The Justin Morgan mold was introduced in 1977 and is named for the main character in Marguerite Henry's novel Justin Morgan Had a Horse. It has the round "Breyer Molding Co." mold stamp as well as the "U.S.A." stamp, with some also having the "B" stamp. It was sculpted by Chris Hess and is Breyer mold #65.

  Justin Morgan matte buckskin, faint dappling, black points ~2000 Appears to be a test for Montana Harvest, above. Dappling similar to that model can be seen faintly on left side head and body, and it appears that the buckskin color may have been too heavy and covered most of the dappling. Found at yard sale shortly after Marney Walerius' death.
