Poodle

The Poodle mold was introduced in about 1955 and initially had no Breyer mold mark. After a short period of time the round "Breyer Molding Co." mold stamp was added and in about 1970 the "U.S.A." mold mark was added as well. The mold was sculpted by Chris Hess based on a Rosenthal china Poodle sculpted by Professor Theodor Kärner and is Breyer mold #67. Black Poodles have green, blue, black or red eyes, red or pink tongues, and red, pink, blue, light grey, or black collars. White Poodles have black eyes, with red, blue, or pink collar and pink tongues. Grey Poodles have red or deep pink collars and tongues.
