Thoroughbred Standing Foal

(c) Janice Cox

The Thoroughbred Standing Foal (G1) was introduced in 1975. Early models have no mold mark, but most have a small linear "Breyer Molding Co. 1975 " stamp on the belly. The mold was sculpted by Maureen Love, originally for Hagen-Renaker as the "Thoroughbred Foal," and is Breyer mold #5700SF. Breyer no longer has an agreement with Hagen-Renaker for the production of this mold and it will likely only be seen in very limited special runs in the future.

A symbol means that I don't yet have a picture of that model. If you can help, please see the Help Wanted section. Clicking on any photo below will open a larger version of that picture.
