Original (pre 1982) mold with "open" tail

The Swaps (G1) mold is essentially the same mold as the Classic scale Swaps save for in size. The mold has the "Breyer Molding Co. � 1975" mold stamp on its belly, and some also have the "B" stamp. Early models have a space between the tail and body, while later models have a filled-in tail as seen above in the center photo. This space was re-added in about 2004 with a more rounded space between the tail and body. Swaps was sculpted by Maureen Love, originally for Hagen-Renaker, and is Breyer mold #5021.
